We all get a limited amount of leisure time, so our goal at Kilby Auto & RV is to help make the most of it by maintaining our customers’ cars, trucks, RVs and trailers.

Our 4000 sq ft shop is in the village of Richmond, Ontario with a large parts department--if we don't have what you need in stock, we’ll get it for you shortly. With decades of collective experience in the automotive and RV industries, our team can look after most any mechanical, electrical or structural issue.

For our RV work, we set ourselves apart with our specialized knowledge for roof protection & repairs, as well as water damage rebuilds. Additionally, we are one of the only shops in the region equipped to take on insurance claims and extended warranty repairs for class A, B and C  motor homes, travel trailers and park models. If our leisure vehicle clients can’t get to us at the shop, our mobile service will go to them, and for those special cases, we have a haulage service to pick up and deliver units.

Our mobile team serves the greater Ottawa Valley area, driving to service calls and appointments within Ottawa’s city proper and in an orbit around the Valley. Essentially, if you're within 100km from Richmond, ON, we'll come to you!

We are also set up for doing regular and commercial safeties on all trailers and vehicles.

Pay us a visit or give us a call, we’re open Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dale's sister Hannah is still waiting to receive thanks for how great this photo of him is.
An important part to check up on, that timing belt!
Our hardest working team member, Landon.
Just another glorious day at the shop.
Jim is the only important thing in this photo.
One of our mechanics, Drew, hard at work and wishing the photo shoot would end.
Did you know cabin air filters are one of the most over-looked services? Look at that dirt!
We're dead. We died after this ferocious creature mauled us.
Tire changes! Who doesn't love a good tire change?
Sometimes to fix an engine, one must become an engine.
Our senior RV technician, Bruce.
Honestly, he's the best one at answering the phones.
A full shop is a happy shop! Plus a bit of fleet maintenance for our client, Rooftops Roofing!
The 2019 annual Richmond Village Santa Claus Parade.
Ever wonder what the front of the building looks like? Well this doesn't count, come in and see us.
A natural born mechanic, we're telling ya.
Rustproofing like a boss.
The man, the myth, the legend: Mike Kilby and his Spider Man welding mask.
A rare moment of Dale smiling.
We highly recommend rustproofing vehicles to maintain them!
The start of a new bay. Wait no...DAY.
Our shop, Dale's home.
Can siblings like each other? Hmm...
Just some tools we likely have three sets of extras for.
Appreciate this for it's artistic potential.
Need tires? It's likely we have used ones in your size!
By this point in the 2019 Santa Claus Parade we were very cold and out of candy.
What a nice, new paint job!
Landon was, by far, the best dressed of the evening. So we made him our CEO.
What do you do in your spare time? We redeck trailers.
As soon as this photo was taken, Jim started eating his antlers.
Just a little trailer. We promise, it's only 45 feet long.
It's so nice when trailers aren't moldy, don't you think?
Drew isn't an RV specialist, but sometimes he likes to pretend, so we let him.
Pesky water, always getting into places it's not supposed to.

We're equipped to take on most any issue for cars, trucks, motor homes, trailers and RVs. Repairs are handled in our 4000 sq foot shop space, or through our mobile RV unit. Check out our Services page for our non-exhaustive list of talents!

"Early in the spring Kilby replaced my fireplace and repaired my furnace at their location. The work was complete in a timely professional fashion, and at a reasonable price. Recently Dale & Bruce completed 2 projects at the trailer. One was to replace an awning arm, while the other was to replace the underbelly material, completed by only Bruce. All projects were completed in a timely fashion and to the highest quality with detail in mind. I would highly recommend them for any future RV projects. They are very customer oriented professional tradesman."
